Description

Rich, decadent and guaranteed to make you go bananas!

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 Oz. Can) Condensed Milk (I Prefer Nestle)
  • 1-½ cup Ice Cold Water
  • 1 box (3.4 Oz. Box) Vanilla Pudding Mix (I Prefer Jell-O)
  • 3 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 box (12 Oz. Box) Nilla Wafers (no Substitutions!)
  • 4 cups Sliced Ripe Bananas (6-8 Bananas)

Preparation

In a large bowl, mix condensed milk and ice cold water, preferably using a mixer on medium speed. Add the vanilla pudding mix until fully incorporated.

Cover it and let it cool in the fridge for at least 4 hours. Please allow this time for it to set properly.

Remove the set pudding from the fridge. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

Gently fold the pudding mixture into the whipped cream, until color is uniform, with no yellow streaks.

To assemble, use a large (preferably glass) bowl or other tall container. Divide the bananas, Nilla wafers and pudding mixture in 3, and assemble 3 layers in this order: Nilla wafers, banana, then pudding. Repeat. Garnish with crumbled Nilla wafers on top!

You may also assemble individual portions. This looks great in mason jars (wonderful for a picnic or housewarming present!), wine glasses or sundae tumblers.

Take it to the fridge for another 6 hours or overnight. The longer it stays in the fridge, the more pronounced the banana flavor!
