Description

Use your favorite candy bars to create this decadent dessert. Best served cold.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 cups Butter, Melted
  • 3 whole Eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 4 cups Flour
  • 1 cup Quick Cook Oats
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ¾ teaspoons Salt
  • 6 whole Candy Bars, 1.4 Ounce Bars, Chopped (use Your Favorite, I Like 3 Heath And 3 Rolo Bars...Snickers And Milky Way Work Great Too)
  • 1 can (13.4 Oz) Dulce De Leche

Preparation

Combine brown sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla. Add flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Fold in the chopped candy bars.

(I line my 13×9 pan with parchment paper so that when the bars are done, I can lift them out of the pan to cut and serve).

Spoon batter into 13×9 pan. Spoon dollops of dulce de leche over batter, swirl slightly. Bake in a 325 degree F oven for 65-70 minutes.

While baking, get on treadmill and burn enough calories to eat one small piece.

Allow to cool before slicing. The center will be all gooey and delicious! After slicing, refrigerate for a couple hours, as this is best eaten cold. Don’t worry, it gives you more time on the treadmill. Maybe the elliptical too. And a few weight lifting exercises. Then you can enjoy a bite, or two!!!!
