Description
A pound cake-ish family favorite!
Ingredients
- 10 ounces, weight Hershey Bar
- 1 cup Oleo
- 2 cups Sugar
- 4 whole Eggs
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 2-½ cups Cake Flour
- ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
- 5-½ ounces, fluid Chocolate Syrup
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
Preparation
Melt the Hershey bar; set aside. Cream oleo and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir baking soda into buttermilk.
Alternately add buttermilk and flour to the creamed mixture, beginning and ending with flour. Add melted Hershey bar, chocolate syrup, and vanilla. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake for 70 minutes at 350 degrees F.
