Grandma Jerrie’s Poppyseed Cake

Description
My grandma is synonymous with this easy, yummy cake. Every Christmas morning she brings it over and we enjoy it with presents and coffee. Mmmm, memories.
Ingredients
- 4 whole Eggs
- 1 cup Water
- 1 envelope Dream Whip
- 1 box Yellow Cake Mix
- ¼ cups Poppyseed
Preparation
Mix eggs, water, Dream Whip and cake mix for 3-4 minutes. Stir in poppyseed.
Pour mix in a greased and floured tube pan.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 40 min.
Let cool for 5-10 min and then invert pan, gently tapping if necessary.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

I can attest to Grandma Jerrie’s poppy seed cake being a delicious family favorite. She brought it over for Christmas brunch. I tried to make it last by slicing it in slivers – however, how many slivers does it take to make a gigantic slice? It’s heavenly with morning tea….
