Be careful with the butter. I think I put a little too much LOL!
But it turned out really good!

Amazing! I’ve made these several times for friends and family and they are a hit. There are never any left for a second day no matter how hard we all try to resist a second dumpling.

My Mom and I made these together, and they are truly amazing. So simple and so good!

I apparently have this recipe saved twice…so instead of rehashing my longer review, I’ll just chime in with the “So good!” chorus. They were AMAZING. I made a half batch and used about 3/4 cup of Mtn Dew. Loved them, and they were so simple and fast. I stuck them in the oven when we sat down to dinner, and they were hot and ready when we went to watch the finale for Lost!

I about died when I ate these….so heavenly and so delicious. So easy, so good and so sinful.

These were so tasty and they are the best when they are hot right out of the oven. Still great the next day but if you are going to try this recipe at least have a taste when they are hot.

My family loved this recipe. I love it because it is so easy to make.

This recipe is how I found Ree & The Pioneer Woman in the 1st place – so I owe it a lot! But the recipe is great! It is one of my go-to ones when I have company. Everyone always asks for the recipe and then laughs when they find out about the Mt Dew (or SunDrop in my neck of the woods). Really great with ice cream.

My husband loves apple pie, this looks like a good alternative. I must try it!

This is the BEST. I make it at least once a week. Everyone that has tasted it wants the recipe.

We love this recipe but I’ve altered it a bit to cut down on the sweetness. I only use about 1 cup of sugar in with the butter and I use 7up or ginger ale for the pop. Mountain Dew is just too sickeningly sweet to us.

My mom had made these for me and told me the recipe. Loved them!! Had forgotten about them so glad to find them here again.

I have made this several times since finding it on Ree’s site & it is so easy ! My friends just LOVE it & so do I.
My kids won’t eat it because it has apples in it–which just means me for me !!!!!

These are absolutely out of this world. If they weren’t so rich, I would eat the whole pan. Everyone I served these to was blown away by the flavor and the ease of preparation! Thank you for this wonderful recipe.

These are fabulous! To make them a little lighter though, I use 1 cup of sugar, and 1 stick of butter. My family likes them better this way… not as rich.
