As soon as I saw this recipe come through my google reader, I came straight over here and printed it. I knew this would be a hit, so I made it for dessert and everyone loved it! My husband said – is this what I think it is inside – I didn’t think we were supposed to eat raw cookie dough – and I told him we could there were no raw eggs in it! Everyone was calling them Cookie Dough BonBons. For the chocolate coating I used 1/2 dark chocolate & 1/2 semi sweet melted together. This made 70 small balls.

These are amazing. I followed the recipe exactly even though you probably don’t need the baking soda since they are served raw.
I got tired of dipping them in chocolate and left some plain. I kept them in the freezer and grabbed a few whenever we wanted a snack.

these are really, really good!! they were super easy to make which was a definite bonus! i followed the recipe exactly.
i used a cookie dough scooper to shape the balls and while they weren’t perfect, nobody cared because they were so delicious.
you will NOT be disappointed!

I served these at a baby shower and the mom-to-be was so excited to get to have something with cookie dough that had no raw eggs. They were easy, delicious, and a big hit.

These were a complete hit with adults and kids alike! Everyone came back for seconds and many people were back for thirds. No advanced cooking skills needed for this recipe, just a little time. Make these today. Serve half to guests and save the rest in the freezer for yourself to enjoy!

I made these to take to a staff party… not one was left-over, and they all got wildly raving reviews. My taste-testers at home agreed that they were amazing!! Thank-you, loveandoliveoil, this is definitely a recipe box addition!!!!

These are amazing. They take a bit of work but are worth every second. I got some glares from people who were on diets as they got second and third helpings.

Delicious and the hit of my chocolate and cheese party. I froze them and took them over the border and they lasted incredibly well. Thank you!

I made these 2 weeks ago after seeing the recipe on Lindsay’s website. They are so deliciously evil – you will want to make them & then share with all your family, friends, coworkers and maybe your enemies (they won’t be your enemies after they try them…) I used regular chocolate bark rather than the dark chocolate. Super easy to make, they do make a ton: 60-70 is a good estimate if you use a small scoop. Do keep refrigerated/chilled for the best taste!

These suckers are dangerous in an insanely delicious and easy sort of way.

I just finished making these for my very pregnant sister in law. (What better way to show a pregnant woman you care! Offerings of food always go over well). I couldn’t keep her hands out of the dough! I changed the recipe a very little. After mixing the dough – before adding the chocolate chips – I divided the dough into 3 sections. I left 1 chunk completely plain – then when it came time to form the dough into balls I formed formed it around a cherry before chilling in the freezer and dipping in chocolate. 1 chunk of dough I added chocolate chips to and followed the rest of the recipe as written, and the third chunk I added 1/2 cup of chopped cherries along with the chocolate chips before finishing the recipe as written.
Definitely a yummy and super easy recipe. A bit rich in calories (assuming your dough makes 60 truffles they are 120 calories a piece), but worth the occasional splurge.

I gave these as gifts to friends for Valentines Day. They loved them (as did I). I had to bring the rest into work, as they would not last long in my house!

These were incredibly good. They were very easy to make too. I used a small scoop and got 70 truffles. I used 20 oz. of chocolate almond bark instead of the dark chocolate. I think these would be awesome cut up and mixed in with vanilla ice cream!

These are absolutely AMAZING. I made them for Valentine’s Day and cannot wait to make them for a few upcoming get togethers with friends. So. good.

I forgot to mention I had left over dough, froze it and used it to make cookies a few days later. Great cookies in the oven, too!
