Description

It’s a brownie… but a cake!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE CAKE:
  • 1-½ stick Butter
  • 5 whole Squares Baker's Semisweet Chocolate, 1 Ounce Squares
  • 2-½ cups Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 6 whole Eggs
  • 2 cups Flour
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ cups Cocoa Powder
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips

  • FOR THE GLAZE:
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • ¼ cups Heavy Cream
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Tablespoons Milk

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350F.

Melt butter and baking sqaures in a microwave safe bowl. Heat it in 30 second intervals, stirring between each interval, and stop once it’s melted.

In a mixing bowl, cream melted butter and chocolate mixture. Add in sugar and vanilla and beat until fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Add in eggs, one at a time, and beating the mixture in between. Add flour, salt and cocoa powder and stir just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.

Grease a bundt pan thoroughly with butter. Pour batter in the pan. Bake for about 75 minutes, or until brownie is set. The top with be a bit crunchy and the insides will be fudgey. Top with vanilla glaze and sprinkles.

Vanilla glaze:
Add sugar to a bowl and stir in heavy cream and vanilla until mixture resembles a thick batter. Add milk one tablespoon at a time, stirring until smooth – about 3-5 full minutes. Mixture may look lumpy at first but just continue to stir and it will come together.
