Description

This is an easy cake mix style coffee cake. It’s perfect to serve with coffee at any party or gathering. Or make it for overnight guests if you need to serve breakfast! Moist and decadent!

Ingredients

  • 1 box Yellow Cake Mix (18.25 Oz)
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 4 whole Eggs
  • ⅔ cups Vegetable Oil
  • 1-½ cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Cinnamon
  • 2 cups Confectioners Sugar
  • ¼ cups Milk

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour a bundt cake pan and set aside.

In the bowl of your stand mixer, blend together the cake mix, sour cream, eggs and oil. Mix well, on medium speed for about 2 minutes.

Spread 1/2 of the batter into the prepared pan.

In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Gently sprinkle this over the batter in the pan. Spread remaining cake batter on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes.

Then remove it from the oven and allow it to cool for 10 minutes. Then turn cake pan upside down over a serving platter and gently tap bottom of the cake pan to remove cake.

Prepare icing by combining the confectioner’s sugar and milk. Pour icing over the warm cake.

Serve warm.
