I made this with strawberries, and i COULD NOT HANDLE it. seriously, the most amazing thing I think I’ve ever tasted. I should try with blackberries, but the strawberry was so close to God I don’t knwo if I want to risk it…

My new fav for cobbler…I used a peach and rasberries because that’s what I had in my frig…so easy to make will never go back to package….or another recipe for that matter.

I made this with a mixture of blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, and diced strawberries. FAB. So yummy and EASY. I brought it to a house warming party and was a complete hit.

I made this with dark, sweet cherries. Oh. My. Goodness. Pure bliss! It was very simple (minus pitting the cherries… which still wasn’t bad). And it was DELICIOUS!

The best cobbler I ever put in my maw! Better than my granny’s, and that’s saying something!! Hers was good, real good, and this is similar to hers, but I think the stick of butter put it over the top. I’ll never make another version of cobbler again, it’s #1 for a reason. I did make one substitution for the self rising flour; I used 1 cup all purpose flour, 1/2 tsp of salt, and 1 1/2 tsp baking powder.

Five mitts for ease, flavor, appearance and speed in which it is eaten….I followed the recipe exactly as written and we love it. Can’t wait to try with other fruits and berries too. It’s too cold where I live to grow berries so I always use frozen (they are cheaper on sale than the fresh.) Frozen berries are great in this recipe.

What did I do wrong? I made this tonight with strawberries and it was a complete disaster. I set my timer to check it at 45 minutes and it was basically burnt after 35. Certainly couldn’t have made it an hour. Anyone else tried strawberries? Was my baking dish too shallow? Any ideas?

What size baking dish did you use? I used a 10 inch round that looked similar to yours and it overflowed….ugh. So I’m making cookies.

My mom says I am obligated to take this dessert to every family get together from now on
The only thing I changed was I used blueberries instead of blackberries. Love this recipe!
