Crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. These can be made and then flash frozen for a later day!
I don’t know where the name came from, but these little mini calzones are delicious! They are a huge hit and great for company. We’re making them tonight for a night of football and friends. They warm up beautifully as leftovers and the filling possibilities are endless. We have a fun night with Root Beer Rocks, root beer on the rocks, and root beer barrel to end the night. (The use of cheese sticks is genius!)
I first had a sandwich like this at a local restaurant, and realized that I had to come up with my own version. It’s such an unusual mixture of ingredients that most people will probably be hesitant at first. But trust me when I say it’s DELICIOUS!
A taco with roasted garlic, shredded fresh spinach, black beans, grilled chicken and any other toppings you love. The roasted garlic is what makes this a wonderful and memorable dish.
Slow-cooked oven-baked ribs with a spicy caramelized brown sugar rub and accompanying barbecue sauce.
Nancy is the Coupon Clipping Cook, which means she not only has an astounding number of recipes to share with us (her TK recipe box is busting at the seams!) but she's also got loads of money-saving tips in her blog (she worked at a grocery store for a number of years, so she knows her stuff). She has some pretty amazing creations, like Roasted Garlic Potato Soup and Nutty Coconut Chicken. Go check them out!
Heather is a Texas native and the blogger behind Heather's Dish. She's mom to Weston, wife to Nate, and they live in Little Rock, Arkansas with their two "stubborn and saucy" dogs Bunker and Keira. In her blog, she shares her photographs, random musings (serious and silly alike), and all kinds of scrumptious recipes---and not just evil variations of her favorite mac and cheese. Her enviable TK recipe box is a testament to that. Go see for yourself!
