Pickled Beet Eggs

by grannysmithgreen and filed in Easter, Holidays

My best friend’s mom makes these every Easter. The first time I spent Easter with their family, I was hesitant to try these, but now Easter’s just not Easter without Mom Stigers’ pickled eggs! If you’ve never had pickled eggs, try these—you’ll love them! There’s just something so surprising and wonderful about cutting one of these in half and seeing the dark purple outside fading to a white ring around the yellow yolk.

Peepin’ Chocolate Bunnies

by mrsq and filed in Candy, Desserts, Easter, Holidays

In my family, it just isn’t Easter without chocolate bunnies and PEEPS® Marshmallow treats! While you can use white or milk chocolate, I found dark chocolate to work best with the very sweet center. You can also dip just the ears or skewer them on a lollipop stick and dunk the whole thing, but I think the bunnies’ shocked expression lends itself nicely to sinking neck-deep in chocolate.

This is my grandmother’s pickled eggs recipe. I make it every year at Easter and my family loves it. I usually triple this recipe.

Italian Easter Bread

by Damelio and filed in Easter, Holidays

Buona Pasqua! Tender bread made with eggs, milk, and sugar for a touch of sweetness. I make this bread year-round without the Easter egg. Makes excellent toast for topping with poached eggs.

Best Ever Moist Carrot Cake!

by Dashing Dish and filed in Easter, Holidays

This carrot cake is extremly rich and moist thanks to one special “secret” ingredient…the wonderfully nutritious and delicious pumpkin!

All of the traditional flavors of this carrot cake pair perfectly with the taste of pumpkin, and it really takes the ‘moistness‘ of this spice cake to a whole new level! The interesting part, however, is that you can’t taste the pumpkin, but it adds a wonderful rich texture.

Meet Nancy

Nancy is the Coupon Clipping Cook, which means she not only has an astounding number of recipes to share with us (her TK recipe box is busting at the seams!) but she's also got loads of money-saving tips in her blog (she worked at a grocery store for a number of years, so she knows her stuff). She has some pretty amazing creations, like Roasted Garlic Potato Soup and Nutty Coconut Chicken. Go check them out!

Meet Heather

Heather is a Texas native and the blogger behind Heather's Dish. She's mom to Weston, wife to Nate, and they live in Little Rock, Arkansas with their two "stubborn and saucy" dogs Bunker and Keira. In her blog, she shares her photographs, random musings (serious and silly alike), and all kinds of scrumptious recipes---and not just evil variations of her favorite mac and cheese. Her enviable TK recipe box is a testament to that. Go see for yourself!
