Chocolate Truffle Cookies

by ceegee and filed in Cookies, Desserts

This is one of my go-to cookies on a cookie tray for holidays or special occasions. They’re quick, easy, and SO good! I liken them to a Mexican Wedding Cookie, only chocolate. Add some chocolate chips to bump up the flavor even more, then dress it up with a confectioners’ sugar/cocoa coating. Present them in mini muffin paper liners to dress them up even more.

Gingered Orange Shortbread

by Food for My Family and filed in Cookies, Desserts

Shortbread is versatile and easy, but best of all, it’s delicious. This one is peppered with flecks of candied ginger and orange zest before it’s dipped into white chocolate and sprinkled with candied orange peel.

by Katie and filed in Cookies, Desserts

Perfect for the holidays! However, these soft cookies are so good that I plan on making them well past the holiday season.

Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies

by ceegee and filed in Cookies, Desserts

If you like Nutella, this is the cookie for YOU: the Nutella with its hazelnut flavor, the semi sweet chocolate’s soft, sweet goodness, the warm tone of the unsweetened chocolate that mellows out some of the sweetness of the Nutella, and the white chocolate drizzle that ties it all together. Add to that the crunch of chopped toasted hazelnuts and a slight undertone of cinnamon and you’ve got a winner!

Scottish Short Bread Cookies

by sprucehill and filed in Cookies, Desserts

A Scottish family recipe handed down from my Great Aunt Mae. This is my most favorite Christmas cookie ever. It is a very easy recipe using three basic ingredients.

Meet Nancy

Nancy is the Coupon Clipping Cook, which means she not only has an astounding number of recipes to share with us (her TK recipe box is busting at the seams!) but she's also got loads of money-saving tips in her blog (she worked at a grocery store for a number of years, so she knows her stuff). She has some pretty amazing creations, like Roasted Garlic Potato Soup and Nutty Coconut Chicken. Go check them out!

Meet Heather

Heather is a Texas native and the blogger behind Heather's Dish. She's mom to Weston, wife to Nate, and they live in Little Rock, Arkansas with their two "stubborn and saucy" dogs Bunker and Keira. In her blog, she shares her photographs, random musings (serious and silly alike), and all kinds of scrumptious recipes---and not just evil variations of her favorite mac and cheese. Her enviable TK recipe box is a testament to that. Go see for yourself!
