These yummy muffins give ground meat new appeal. They can be made in large muffin tins or in the mini muffin tins as hot appetizers on a party plate.

With Canadian Thanksgiving coming up on Monday, I have pumpkin on the mind. These little treats are a cinch to make and go beautifully with a glass of wine (or dipped into a bowl of chili).

This version of savory palmiers involves only four ingredients: store-bought puff pastry, goat cheese, dried cranberries, and pistachios. That’s it. The active prep time is less than 10 minutes, but do remember to leave time for the uncooked palmiers to rest in the fridge. They can be made ahead and stored in an airtight container or frozen.
