Mix dry ingredients together. Combine egg, milk and salad oil. Add to dry ingredients; stir just until moist.
Bake on a hot griddle. For thinner pancakes, add 2 Tablespoons more milk.
Makes 12 silver dollar sized cakes, or 8 (4 inch) pancakes.
