Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
In a separate bowl, whisk together egg, milk, and vegetable oil.
Pour wet ingredients into dry and stir to combine. Pour in chocolate chips and stir just until incorporated.
Grease a hot griddle, and pour about a cup of batter for each pancake. When the top of the pancake starts to get bubbly, flip over. Cook until bottom is golden brown.
Serve warm with syrup of your choice! Enjoy!
Note: Regular-sized chocolate chips can be used in this recipe, but do make the pancakes a great deal sweeter. If you’re a chocolate lover, go for it!
