Description

Seafood, bisque, you name it! These go well with just about anything. No more waiting in those seafood restaurant lines to get them!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE BISCUITS:
  • 2 cups Bisquick Mix
  • ⅔ cups Milk
  • ½ cups Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons Melted Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Creole Seasoning (Old Bay Or Zatarains)
  • ½ Tablespoons Garlic Powder
  • _____
  • FOR THE GLAZE:
  • ¼ cups Melted Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Creole Seasoning (Old Bay Or Zatarains)
  • Parsley, For Topping

Preparation

Mix biscuit mix, milk, cheese, 2 Tablespoons of melted butter, Creole (Bay) seasoning, garlic powder in a bowl.

Drop spoonfulls of batter onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Melt 1/4 cup of butter and add in a teaspoon each of garlic powder and Old Bay. Stir well. Brush this ‘glaze’ over each biscuit. Sprinkle with Parsley.

Bake 425 for 8-10 minutes.

Promptly hide from your husband!

I made these a few weeks ago. My husband was over the moon. I think next time, I’ll skip the Old Bay in the glaze – it was a bit too-Old-Bay-y for me.

I made these a few weeks ago. My husband thought they were awesome. I think next time I’ll skip the old bay in the glaze. It was a bit too old-bay-y for me.
