Description

Easy-to-make cheddar biscuits.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • ½ Tablespoons Baking Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • 6 Tablespoons Cold Butter Cut Into Chunks
  • ¼ cups Buttermilk
  • 1 whole Egg
  • ½ cups Cheddar Cheese, Shredded

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 425ºF.

Place the flour, baking powder, salt, and butter into a food processor and chop until the butter is the size of peas. Pour the flour mixture into a mixing bowl. Whisk in the buttermilk and egg, only until moistened. It will be very sticky. Add the cheddar cheese and mix with your hands so it can get combined but not over-mixed.

Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll with your hands to make a flat-looking ball. Place on the baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes. They will rise and turn a golden brown on top when they are done.

Serve warm.
