Description

Banana muffins with oatmeal and chocolate chips. Perfect way to start your day.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Butter, Melted
  • 3  Bananas, Mashed
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • ¼ cups Milk
  • 2  Eggs
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350ºF and line a muffin tray or spray with nonstick spray.
2. Melt butter and cool.
3. Beat mashed bananas, sugar, butter (melted and cooled), milk and eggs until combined.
4. Add flour, baking soda and salt. Beat until combined.
5. Stir in oats and chocolate.
6. Fill muffin tin and bake for 20-22 minutes.

These were great :) I added a bit of cinnamon to it as others suggested, and it really helped the flavour. I got 6 giant muffins and 6 regular sized muffins from this recipe. Will definitely make again!

So yummy, loved the reminder of banana bread without actually being banana bread and they have the perfect amount of oats and chocolate chips. Definitely a new addition to our family muffin repertoire!

My 5-year-old requested chocolate chip muffins, so I went with this recipe since it had bananas and oats, too! They were great and my husband loved them as well. Thanks!
