Description

A basic recipe for one loaf, mixed in one step.

Ingredients

  • 3 whole Ripe Bananas, Crushed
  • ½ cups Butter, Softened OR Margarine
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoons Vanilla

Preparation

Preheat oven to 275ºF. Mix all ingredients together in the order listed. Pour into a greased and floured 9×5-inch loaf pan. Bake for 50 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Slice and serve warm or cold with butter.

For a 1 1/2 batch size that will fit 2 pans of 4×8-inch size, use the following amounts:

4 to 5 small bananas
2/3 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
