Description

Hot Wing fan? Try these delicious Sriracha Wings!

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds Chicken Wing Drummettes
  • 1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 2 teaspoons Kosher Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ½ cups Sriracha Thai Hot Sauce
  • ¼ cups Ketchup
  • ½ cups Soy Sauce
  • ¼ cups Honey
  • 1 cup Sweet Orange Marmalade (I Used Smucker's)
  • 4 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Ginger, Minced
  • ½ cups Fresh Cilantro, Chopped
  • 2  Limes, Zest And Juice
  • ¼ cups Rice Wine Vinegar

Preparation

Place drummettes in a gallon-size Ziploc bag. In a medium bowl, whisk together all remaining ingredients. Pour over the drummettes in the bag. Press out most of the air and seal the bag. Carefully toss drummettes with the sauce in the bag and place in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.

Preheat oven to 375ºF. Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Pour chicken and all of the marinade into a baking dish and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, stirring halfway through.

Note: This can also be done on the grill or smoker. Keep an eye on it and watch for flare ups.

I saved these as a must make! They look fan-tastic! I LOVE anything with Siracha sauce or Chili with Garli Sauce – Great photo too!!

I have made these twice and liked them the best the second time when I let them marinate 24 hours. I prefer to cook them without lots of sauce on them so they get a little crispy (2nd time I cooked them in the oven earlier in the day then grilled them before serving to heat and crisp them up a little) I also made extra sauce and kept it separate in a jar until I was almost ready to serve. Heated up and thickened the sauce in a saucepan and served on the side for people who wanted more sauce and heat….great recipe – thanks !

We used diced chicken breasts and cooked them over the bbq. Served with rice. It was amazing! Thank you!
