Description

This easy appetizer is chock-full of flavor! Lots of cheese and pepperoni, and easy to eat!

A yummy treat for a tailgate, football game, or even a baby shower!

Ingredients

  • ¾ cups Flour
  • ¾ teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 dash Salt
  • ¾ cups Milk
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
  • ¼ cups Parmesan Cheese, Grated
  • 1 cup Pepperoni, Cut Into Small Pieces
  • ½ cups Pizza Sauce For Dipping

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 375ºF.
2. Grease a 24-cup mini-muffin pan.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, Italian seasoning, and salt.
4. Whisk in milk and egg.
5. Stir in mozzarella, parmesan and pepperoni. Let stand 10 minutes.
6. Divide the batter in the mini muffin cups.
7. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
8. Sever while warm, with pizza sauce for dipping!

Note: If you like it extra cheesy (which who doesn’t?) add an extra 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese, and increase the parmesan to 1/3 cup!

These were easy and so delicious! I made them for a party and everyone raved about them. I thought I would save myself some clean up and put them in mini baking cups, but the paper didn’t peel off easily at all. Next time, I’ll just go without the baking cups.
