This recipe didn’t really work for us. The only thing we substituted was half white sugar and half brown sugar but we followed the rest of the recipe and it ended up as thick as cookie dough. The taste is great, but it ended up looking pretty ugly. Ohh well, I might try again with the rest of the brown sugar next time.

SO super easy and I had all the ingredients all ready to go. Just love it when you don’t have to go to the store! This recipe gets five thumbs up from this family!

Not only is this recipe simple and delicious, I like that it can be a springboard for so much more…..chocolate, nuts, or broken up chocolate sandwich cookies.

I bet that would be awesome! Can you believe I just tried Nutella for the first time last month? I was so scared of it because I don’t do hazelnut… wow, I was missing out!

emnichole: yay! glad you guys liked it and, yes – I was so flattered that Julie posted it on her blog … she’s fabulous. [btw: I want to make this with nutella. I just need to get to Sam’s Club to get a huge tub of it.]
