Description

This is a perfect (and delicious) homemade holiday gift! But be warned, it really is addictive!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cups Water
  • ½ cups Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Pure Vanilla Extract

Preparation

Combine water, sugar and vanilla in a saucepan, stir well. Bring to a boil. Boil for 4-5 minutes. Cool, cover and pour into a decorative bottle.

Slap a label or some ribbon on the bottle or mason jar and you are good to go.

Include a recipe card with it and suggest mixing the syrup into club soda for a cream soda, into coffee for a wonderful flavor, over pancakes, waffles or over ice cream as a treat!

This will keep 3 weeks in your fridge. Rewarm later for use.

Happy holidays!

Thanks for the tip! Will most likely be trying this weekend! Would be sooner but have a big test to study for this week. :)

Hi Crysi, Mix 1 1/2 to 2 oz of syrup would be good for a 16 oz glass of ice and club or seltzer. Hope you enjoy!
