Complex, spicy hot sauce – makes a great gift!
Wash an empty bottle with a shaker top with hot soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
Place the garlic, peppers, bay leaf, salt and peppercorns in the bottle, cutting the peppers up if necessary to make them fit in the bottle.
Pour vinegar in the bottle to cover.
Cap and leave on the counter for a few days, then refrigerate.
Easy peasy with a great complex pepper flavor!
