These biscuits are so easy and buttery good. Add herbes de provence to make them extra special!
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Mix the flour and butter. Add the sour cream and herbs and blend well. Spoon batter into greased muffin cups, filling 12 muffin cups halfway full, or 24 muffin cups for smaller muffins.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.

Saw this recipe and decided to make them for a family dinner and they were a big hit; super easy, tasty, and light. The only thing I added the second time around, was 2 T. sugar which I thought brought out the flavor of the herbs, and substituted yoghurt for the sour cream and they were perfect. Passing this on to my 3 daughters and friends. Thanks

My family has been making these for years (I think using Bisquik instead of flour), but I have never even thought about adding herbs!! Thank you for a great idea!

After a failed attempt with another biscuit recipe this morning (read: hockey pucks!), I tried Barefoot Belle’s Sour Cream Biscuits. I didn’t bake them in a muffin tin but patted them out and formed into a rounded biscuit form. And wow! What a rich, moist, flaky and easy to make biscuit this is! This biscuit didn’t even need butter or honey or anything on it. They were wonderful!

Very good…and VERY easy! What’s not to love! Next time I make them, I’m going to add some cheddar cheese to them.

These are INCREDIBLE!!!! I love the flavor and the simplicity. I have to be honest, these take closer to 25 minutes to cook for me. I’ve made them twice and it was the same both times. Not sure if it’s the elevation or what (5300 ft).
But thank you!!!!
