A homemade seasoned salt, free of corn, gluten, msg, and other allergens/additives. I use it as a replacement for Lawry’s Seasoned Salt in my cooking (for meats, fries, eggs, veggies, etc.).
Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl and crush any clumps with a spoon or pestle. Pour the mixture into an airtight shaker jar to store.

I’m so sorry, Jerseycook – I didn’t notice I had posts! Yes, you can substitute cornstarch for the arrowroot powder and yes, it is just to prevent clumping. I use arrowroot because of my corn allergies. In this case, you can substitute it one-for-one, but in my other baking recipes to be posted in the future, the ratio is 2 teaspoons of cornstarch per 1 Tablespoon of arrowroot powder.

Jerseycook, I’m pretty sure the arrowroot is to prevent clumping, in that case you could use cornstarch instead. Please correct me if I’m wrong,

I’m so excited about this because I have such problems with MSG! Thanks for coming up with this!

Is the arrowroot powder there just to keep it from clumping? Could I substitute cornstarch?

Thanks for sharing how to make our own seasonings! I really like being able to make my own so it doesn’t have all the ‘bad’ stuff in it. I will use this a lot!
