Don’t worry, even though this recipe sounds a tad weird, it’s subtle and I think, delicious. It kinda reminds me of the recipe in my gluten free cookbook for Rosemary Hazelnut Cookies.
1. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.
2. Stir together wet ingredients in a smaller bowl.
3. Mix wet ingredients into dry.
4. Form ½-inch balls and press onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
5. Bake at 350° for 7-10 minutes.
6. Cool and serve.

Hi, Y’all!
I made these cookies. I found the lavender that I had been looking for at a place in Dallas, TX called Penzeys Spices at Preston and LBJ. Thanks to a wonderful co-worker (CP), she told me about this spice shop. They have several locations through-out the USA; here is their web site: http://www.penzeys.com.
As for the cookies, they were a big hit with the family. My mother, who is not a sweet eater at all, fell in love with them and plans on making some for herself. They go great with a cup of hot tea as well as with french vanilla ice cream. The Blanched Almond Flour can be found at a Whole Foods near you but it will set you back quite a bit.

Hello!
This recipe looks good, so good that I will be making it.
I have already started to search for dried lavendar in my neighborhood Whole Foods (2 stores only) in Dallas but they don’t carry it. Can anyone from Dallas, TX tell me where in the world may I buy this product (dried lavender)? I see that Amazon.com does have the dried lavender but I’d rather not purchase it from them and have to pay for shipping – what an expense.

Thank s for posting gluten free recipes like this one! I happen to adore lemon and am definitely going to try these! With a daughter and godson both being diagnosed recently with Celiac’s recently I am still experimenting with the baking aspect. THANKS!

Wow, I happen to have “Celtic Sea Salt”! I’m Irish so that’s why! These sound lovely and perfect for my friend who has been craving cookies but, alas, has to steer away from traditional baked items. Thank you for posting it….
