This recipe for homemade applesauce is as easy as it gets. With no added sugar or sweeteners, it makes a mighty healthy treat.
Place apples and cinnamon in a large pyrex bowl with a lid. Bake covered at 350°F for 1½ hours. Allow to cool slightly.
Crush apples with a potato masher until sauce is desired consistency. Serve over latkes, on top of a bowl of yogurt, or (my favorite) plain.
