Description

These Green Chili Turkey Burgers are based on a fabulous recipe from Mark Sisson’s Primal Blueprint Cookbook, and is yet another high-protein entree from the king of primal that my entire family enjoyed.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (small 4 Oz. Can) Diced Green Chiles
  • 1 pound Ground Turkey
  • 1 cup Cilantro, Finely Chopped
  • ½ cups Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Celtic Sea Salt

Preparation

In a medium sized bowl, mix diced chiles with turkey, cilantro, onion, cumin, chili powder and salt. Form into burgers and grill. Serve.

These are fantastic. I have made them more times than I can count. I usually make a batch on Sunday so that I can have them available anytime during the week. Especially for lunches.

very tasty. the flavor was pretty intense.. it think next time i will reduce the cumin to 1 teaspoon so the green chili taste can shine more. but my picky husband and 2 year old loved them. good recipie

I made these last night and my goodness, they were unreal! I served them with bacon and horseradish cheddar. I will definitely make again!

Made these last night and they are wonderful. Was afraid they would fall apart because the mix is very wet, but I was wrong. Moist and delicious! Due to rain had to cook on my George Forman grill, can’t wait to make again and cook over coals.
