This is the gluten-free flour mix I use for all of my recipes. It usually works great if you want to substitute it for recipes calling for ‘regular’ flour, too.
Put both flours together in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
I usually mix up a lot of this at once and store it in a container for ready use whenever I’m baking. The important thing to remember is 3 parts brown rice to 1 part tapioca flour.
Voila!

Is this a cheaper way to buy “gluten free” flour at the store?

I’m excited to try it out, I’m curious too about the xanthan gum.

Do you still need to add xanthan gum when switching a regular recipe to gluten free when using this mix? Or does it just depend… I’m very new to the gluten free world.
