A delicious gluten-free dessert with fresh fruit, what more could you want?
Butter your pie pan. Peel, core, and slice the pears into thin slices. Mix together with the sugars, salt, 2 tablespoons of flour, and spices. Pour filling into your pie pan.
Now for the topping, cut the butter into the cup of flour, xantham gum, and sugar. When it looks like big crumbs, pour over the top of the filling.
Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Lower the temperature to 375 degrees and cook for 30 more minutes.
Serve warm, cold, plain, or with homemade ice cream.
