A low carb make-over for a favorite breakfast potato recipe. Cooked turnips have a consistency very close to potatoes, and lose their turnip/radish bite when cooked. Start to finish in just 10 minutes. Suitable for Atkins, Keto, LCHF, low carb, diabetic, low glycemic, gluten free, grain free, sugar free, low potassium, low sodium, CKD/Renal Diet, dairy free and Paleo option.
Melt butter or bacon grease in a skillet over medium heat. Add all other ingredients and cover, cooking until turnips are fork-tender, about 5 minutes.
Remove lid, turn heat up to medium-high just long enough to brown the turnips. Season and serve.
