Why drink a plain protein drink out of a box when you can turn it into a luscious Strawberry Shake in less than 5 minutes? A low carb meal packed with protein and deliciousness! Suitable for Atkins, Keto, LCHF, low carb, diabetic, low glycemic, gluten free, grain free, sugar free, nut free.
Stem strawberries, if needed. Cut into quarters.
Put all ingredients in a blender with high enough power to crush ice. Blend until creamy. Check consistency and flavor to see if you want more ice for a thicker shake, or added strawberry extract for more flavor. Adjust as desired.
Serve in a large glass with a straw.
Notes:
• This makes a very large shake—16 ounces or more, depending on how much ice you add.
• You may use fresh strawberries, if they are in season. Add a little more ice, if needed.
• I get no kickback for products used in my recipes. Brand names are included to assure more accurate nutritional estimates. Nutrition information is based on My Fitness Pal’s online recipe analyzer. The recipe is stored there and available to MFP users for logging in their food diaries.
