Overcome the chalkiness of a boxed protein shake by turning it into a rich and flavorful blended shake in just minutes. Doubling the volume makes this a satisfying meal. Or make into 2 servings for a snack or dessert you can share. This chocolate shake has a hint of malt taste, without adding any malt at all. Suitable for Atkins, Keto, LCHF, low carb, diabetic, low glycemic, gluten free, grain free, sugar free, nut free.
Put all ingredients in a blender with high enough power to crush ice. Blend until creamy. Check consistency and flavor to see if you want more ice for a thicker shake, or added vanilla or cocoa powder for more flavor. Adjust as desired.
Serve in a large glass with a straw. Add a dollop of sugar free whipped cream and a dusting of cocoa powder, if desired.
This makes a very large shake, 16 ounces or more, depending on how much ice you add.
Notes:
• Make a Mocha Frappuccino by adding 1 teaspoon instant coffee and blending well before adding ice.
