Only 5 minutes, and a couple of added ingredients turns a boring boxed protein drink into a huge low carb milkshake! A good source of potassium for a low carb diet, and a simple “fat bomb.” This shake is a perfect summer meal replacement when it’s just too hot to cook. Suitable for Atkins, Keto, LCHF, low carb, diabetic, low glycemic, gluten free, grain free, sugar free, nut free, coconut free.
Put all ingredients in a blender strong enough to crush ice. Pulse until ice is broken up, then blend until smooth.
Serve in 16-ounce or larger glass (this makes a large milkshake, about 18 ounces). Top with whipped cream, if desired.
Notes:
• If you can find Walden Farms Caramel Syrup or Caramel Dip, either can be added to the shake for more color and more caramel flavor. Or drizzle the Caramel Syrup on top for presentation.
• I get no kickback for products used in my recipes. Brand names are included to assure more accurate nutritional estimates. Nutrition information is based on My Fitness Pal’s online recipe analyzer. The recipe is stored there and available to MFP users for logging in their food diaries. Sugar alcohols and liquid Sucralose are excluded from nutrition counts, as they are not absorbed by the body and rate zero on the glycemic index.
