Apples, cranberries, flax, and oats are the main players in this delicately spiced, lightened up granola. 155 calories per 1/2 cup!
Preheat oven to 250ºF.
In a large bowl, combine oats, flaxseed, and spices. Set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk together syrup, applesauce, and extracts. Pour syrup mixture into oats and stir until thoroughly combined.
Spread onto a lined cookie sheet and bake for 60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Allow to cool completely before mixing in the apples and cranberries.
Store in an airtight container.
