Just made this chili to go along with two other kinds for a chili bar. it was wonderful! I added potatoes and increased the cooking time to make sure they were done but over all it was great. I didn’t even add the pickled jalapeños because I didn’t have any. I will also mention that the recipe doesn’t say what temperature to cook it on after you add the barley. I used the recommendation on the barley bag and just turned it to med-low after adding. But overall a great, filling chili!

Totally awesome! I used the one cup of beer… then at end added the rest!

So delicious! Chickened out and only added one tablespoon of chili powder, but it was so, so good. Thanks for sharing!!
