This is one of my favorite recipes, my comfort food! My husband says his day is so much better when he knows this is what’s for dinner. Anyone I’ve ever served it to has loved it! It’s super for a casual soup/salad lunch, or also great served at dinner with crusty wheat biscuits and honey butter.
In a large saucepan, saute the chicken, onion and garlic powder in oil until chicken is no longer pink. Add the beans, broth, chilies and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
Remove from the heat; stir in sour cream and cream. Serve immediately.

Mmmm…made this last night for some friends we had over. Delicious! I added black beans and kidney beans as well for a little variety and color. Great recipe!
