Description

The perfect alternative to a traditional Italian pesto. It’s smooth, creamy, cheesy, and absolutely delicious!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Fresh Spinach
  • 1 cup Fresh Basil, Plus More For Garnish
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • ⅔ cups Chopped Almonds
  • 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Hemp Hearts
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • 4 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Preparation

In a food processor, add spinach, basil, garlic, almonds, lemon juice, hemp hearts, salt and pepper. Mix for about 1 minute, slowly adding a tablespoon of olive oil at a time. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Transfer mixture to a prepared jar or dish. Garnish with basil leaves.
