Description

This Roasted Green Beans with Garlic Panko recipe is a gluten-free and high-fiber side dish. Great for festive meals and parties this holiday season.

Ingredients

  • FOR THE GREEN BEANS:
  • 2 pounds Green Beans, Trimmed
  • 4 teaspoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • ½ teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Chili Flakes
  • Salt And Pepper
  • FOR THE BREADCRUMBS:
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil Cooking Spray
  • 4 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • ¾ cups Gluten-free Panko Crumbs
  • ½ cups Walnuts, Chopped
  • Sea Salt And Fresh Ground Pepper

Preparation

For the green beans:
Preheat oven to 425°F. Place a jellyroll pan in the oven for 10 minutes.

In a medium bowl, place green beans and all the the remaining green bean ingredients. Toss to thoroughly coat the beans. Arrange green bean mixture in a single layer on preheated baking sheet.

Bake for about 8 minutes or until crisp-tender. Remove from oven and set aside.

For the garlic panko breadcrumbs:
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic, panko and walnuts. Stir and sauté until lightly toasted. Season with salt and fresh ground pepper. Set aside.

When it is time to serve you just need to transfer the roasted green beans to a serving dish and top with garlic panko crumbs.
