Description

I get so excited when asparagus pops up in the grocery stores. I also think it is hilarious how it makes your pee smell, but that’s beside the point. The point is that this recipe is easy to make, tastes delicious, and would go great as a side to many dishes.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch Asparagus
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • Sea Salt, to taste
  • Pepper To Taste
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar

Preparation

Toss asparagus with oil, salt and pepper. Place on a baking sheet, and bake in a 425ºF oven for 10–15 minutes, shaking halfway through until they are tender but crisp. Also halfway through cooking, shake in minced garlic (this makes it so the garlic does not burn). When finished, drizzle with balsamic vinegar, and serve. Enjoy!

Love this! Nice and healthy!!!! Balsamic adds such amazing flavor to food. I am printing this off, we have excess asparagus right now.
You can see our family favorite asparagus recipe (in my recipe box – Oven Roasted Bacon Dripped Asparagus). It’s not as healthy as yours, but still yummy!! :)
