Description

Grilled Potato Packs with bacon, cheddar cheese, and green onions!

Ingredients

  • 4 whole Medium Sized Potatoes, Cut Into 1-inch Chunks
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 4 strips Bacon, Cooked And Crumbled
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese
  • ¼ cups Sliced Green Onions

Preparation

In a large microwave safe dish heat the diced potatoes for 10 minutes, stirring after 5 minutes. Place the potatoes a large sheet of heavy duty aluminum foil. Toss them with the olive oil. Sprinkle the salt and bacon crumbles over the top. Dot with butter.

Wrap the foil securely around potatoes. Place over a hot grill for about 20 minutes, flipping half way. Open up the foil, and top with cheese and onions. Then stir around to melt the cheese. Serve straight from the foil pack. Enjoy!

Oh my! This looks yummy! I’ve done potatoes on the grill before, but this has just enough of a twist with the bacon and cheese along with the precooking the potatoes that I will be doing this version next time we grill! Thanks for sharing…

These are easy & yummy. I liked that you could make the packets however you liked, we all had different things in them.

These were AWE–wait for it–SOME!! My husband loves fried potatoes and he loves Aussie Jack Fries from Outback, and these are the best of both worlds! Will definitely be making these over and over again.
