Description

A scrumptious and easy side dish which will go with any fish, poultry, beef or pork main dish! Mashed potatoes mixed with minced garlic and baked with fresh chives and paprika.

Ingredients

  • 10 whole Golden Or Red Potatoes
  • 5 cloves (Large) Garlic, Minced
  • ⅓ cups Butter
  • ⅓ cups Milk
  • ½ teaspoons Sea Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Black Pepper
  • ¼ cups Fresh Chives, Chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Paprika

Preparation

Scrub potatoes and cube. Place potatoes and garlic in a large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil over medium high heat and cook until potatoes are fork-tender, about 12–15 minutes.

Drain and return to pan. Add butter and milk; blend well until creamy. Mix in salt and pepper.

Spread in a buttered 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Top with fresh chives and paprika.

Cover with foil. (At this point, if you are preparing in advance, this recipe can be refrigerated for several hours or overnight.) Bake at 350ºF for 25 minutes.
