A shortcut for when you don’t have an hour to cook potatoes.
Place potatoes in a glass microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high power 5 minutes, then on half power for 5 minutes.
Stir sour cream topping ingredients in a bowl.
Check potatoes with a fork, and continue cooking in 1-minute intervals on high power if needed, until potatoes are tender. Let stand 5 minutes to finish cooking, then drain any liquid from the bowl. Toss with butter, salt, and dill.
Serve with sour cream topping.
