I grew up on an apple orchard and we had hot cider a lot growing up, especially after sledding parties. This is my version. It is best with fresh cider, but the bottled kind also works.
Place all ingredients in a large kettle and simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes. Strain spices and serve hot in mugs.
Note: Keeps well in a crock pot for parties.
