Description

Easy, spicy chili. Instant classic for football games, winter nights or weeks where you just want to have some leftovers!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 whole Large Onion, Diced
  • 4 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 2 pounds Ground Turkey
  • 28 ounces, weight Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Dark Beer (lager Is Preferable, Yuengling Is Best)
  • 3 Tablespoons Chili Powder
  • 3 Tablespoons Hot Sauce (Frank's Red Hot Is Preferred In Our House)
  • ⅓ cups Honey
  • 10 ounces, weight Frozen Corn
  • 15 ounces, weight Dark Red Kidney Beans
  • 15 ounces, weight Light Red Kidney Beans
  • ⅓ cups Diced Green Chilies
  • 3 cubes Beef Bouillon
  • 2 Tablespoons All-purpose Flour

Preparation

Heat oil in a large skillet. Add onion; cook and stir for 5 minutes. Add garlic; cook and stir for 2 minutes.

Add turkey to the skillet. Cook and stir until turkey is no longer pink. Drain fat and discard.

Place crushed tomatoes in a slow cooker. Add turkey, onion and garlic mixture to the slow cooker. Add the remaining ingredients.

Cover; cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours or on HIGH for 4 to 6 hours.
