My mom would gather 14 of us, children, around the table every Thanksgiving and we’d make these. Now I make these for my family’s Thanksgiving every year and can’t wait until my boys are old enough to “help” me! They are fun to put around the place settings and yummy too!
Unwrap and lay out all ingredients.
Melt the dipping chocolate in a double boiler until smooth.
Take a creme drop and turn on it’s side; dip a small portion in the chocolate and place on a Ritz cracker, towards the back.
Take a butter knife, dip in chocolate, and spread a tiny bit on another Ritz cracker; butt it up against the flat side of the creme drop.
Dab the bottom of the yellow side of a candy corn in chocolate and place on top of the creme drop against the standing Ritz cracker.
Let dry and enjoy!
*Great Children’s Activity! … As you can see the “homemade kid’s look” from the picture! Hooray for 7 nieces’ and nephews’ hands helping me!

I made these today with my 2 year old. Was surprised how much could actually help as opposed to JUST eat the ingredients! It was a perfect day before Thanksgiving project… we’ll have to make it a tradition. Thanks for sharing.

I make these, too, except I use fudge striped cookies. I put the “body” on the solid fudge side of one cookie and stand the other one up so the stripes look like tail feathers. I took all the ingredients to school when my son was in kindergarten and we made them with his class. They were a big hit!

Adorable! Think I’ll make these with the grandkids!
