I made this for our Easter feast this year. It was super easy and delicious. I was a bit nervous that the white bread was going to come out soggy, but I guess the butter helped it cook. The recipe said to bake it for an hour – I thought it looked done after 40 mins (it was bubbly and starting to brown on top) so I took it out. It was fine but a little gooey on the bottom so I probably could have left it in longer.

I used to make something like this and lost my recipe. I’m going to try this for Easter.

The only “stuffing” I eat… My SIL’s mom makes this for our joint Thanksgiving meals and I cannot get enough! When I make it myself, I do reduce the sugar though — the canned pineapple is pretty sweet on its own.
