Delicious slow cooker sweet potatoes smothered in marshmallows make for an awesome holiday side dish!
Grease a 6-quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Place potatoes in slow cooker.
In a separate bowl, add sugar, butter, spice, vanilla, water and salt and mix well. Pour over potatoes and stir to coat.
Cover and heat on high 3 1/2 to 4 hours or until potatoes are tender. Reduce heat to low. Sprinkle with marshmallows and cover until melted, about 3–5 minutes.
Serve topped with whole pecans.
