Wonderful cranberry sauce. Perfect for your Thanksgiving turkey or for sandwich days later!
Boil sugar and water. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add berries and continue to boil until all berries have popped, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add jam and lemon juice. Blend well. Add almonds.
Chill for 4 or more hours before serving. Best if made one day ahead.
